Job Description

Atlas Tube, a division of Zekelman Industries, is seeking a Shipper for our facility in Kansas City, MO. This person will play a key role in ensuring efficient material handling, order fulfillment, and inventory management. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values accuracy, and enjoys working with warehouse equipment

Responsibilities:

• Champions and enforces safe work practices in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Prepares materials, products, and equipment for distribution and shipment.
• Processes and fulfills orders from customers and internal teams.
• Picks, packs, and stages orders, verifying accuracy using scanning tools.
• Loads shipments onto flatbed trucks or LTL carriers.
• Receives, inspects, and processes incoming materials, reporting any damages.
• Replenishes warehouse stock and rotates inventory using a reach truck or forklift.
• Operates forklifts, order pickers, reach trucks, and walkie rider pallet jacks to move materials efficiently.
• Standardizes and optimizes shipping and receiving procedures for accuracy and efficiency.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
• Regular, full-time onsite attendance is required.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience, preferably in steel or tubing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic math skills for accurate order processing.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Problem-solving ability to address warehouse challenges.
• High attention to detail to ensure order accuracy and quality standards.
