Jean-Marc “JM” Athanassiadis leads Zekelman’s Sharon Tube business unit as President, where he is responsible for all facets of the division’s operations, sales, and service.

With over 17 years of leadership and operational experience, JM has demonstrated success in managing multisite manufacturing and improving margins. He has a proven track record of enhancing operational excellence and teammate safety, optimizing inventory, and building high-performing teams across North America and Europe.

Before joining Zekelman in 2026, JM was Chief Operating Officer at Metal Technologies, where he led operational stabilization efforts across six facilities. He previously served as COO at Evantic and began his career at Parker Hannifin. Originally from France, he earned a Master’s degree in Industrial Management and a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Burgundy.
