Job Description

As a Production Worker at Sharon Tube, a division of Zekelman Industries, in Niles, OH, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of the production line while maintaining safety and quality standards. This role is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.  

Responsibilities:

• Operate hand and power equipment to support safe, efficient production.
• Run production machinery to maintain smooth line operations and output.
• Handle and move raw materials to designated areas to keep production running.
• Follow all safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
• Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts to support material handling needs.
• Use packing and banding equipment to prepare products for shipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support production goals.  

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of industrial or manufacturing experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to work with and understand basic machine functions.
• Strong attention to detail, dependability, and focus on quality.
• Ability to work shift schedules and varying hours as required.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed to meet production demands.
• Ability to pass job-related physical, background check, and drug screening requirements.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Commitment to leading and promoting health and safety practices in accordance with regulatory and company standards.

Physical Abilities:

• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to walk or stand for at least 80% of the shift.
