Z Modular welcomes Stacy Young as project manager

CHICAGO (July 26, 2018) — Z Modular announced today that it has hired Stacy Young as project manager of Z Modular in Birmingham, Alabama. In her new role, Stacy will be responsible for project planning, sourcing finishes for the modules, hitting strategic milestones to ensure a project stays on track within expected delivery dates, managing the budget, and closing out Z Modular projects in development. Currently, Stacy is managing the recently announced Cheatham Street Flats, a student housing development in San Marcos, Texas.

Stacy comes to Z Modular with over 20 years of experience in the construction industry and has worked on various projects across the United States, including developments in Detroit, Michigan, and Las Vegas, Nevada. She most recently worked at Thor Construction Company, based in Las Vegas. The last project she managed was the National Memorial for Peace and Justice in Montgomery, Alabama, where she worked with the Equal Justice Initiative (EJI). Stacy oversaw quality to ensure the memorial met the developers’ standards and stayed within budget and on schedule.

In her spare time, Stacy is an active member of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) and plans to become more involved in the community of Birmingham, Alabama, where she now resides.
