Blytheville Mill Announcement

On Tuesday, July 30th, Atlas Tube (a division of Zekelman Industries) announced their new $150 million mill project in Blytheville, Arkansas. The mill is anticipated to create 75 new jobs in the area, totaling approximately 150 employees in Blytheville.

“We’re very excited to continue investing in a community we’ve proudly called home,” said Barry Zekelman, executive chairman and CEO of Zekelman Industries. “Having two mills within close proximity of each other will only increase our organization’s efficiency. We look forward to starting construction of this groundbreaking facility.”

HR Career Fair

On July 16th and 17th, Z Modular held a job fair at our facility in Ontario. The Hiring Session was our most successful yet! While we were there, we interviewed several Designers and Engineers for the Design Team in Kitchener.  We met a variety of skilled candidates and appreciate everyone that attended. SEASC’s 14th Annual Conference

Atlas Tube’s Structural Engineer, Brad Fletcher, recently attended SEASC’s 14th Annual Conference in Columbia, South Carolina. Brad discussed how Atlas Tube is doing their part to MAKE IT eZ by being a leading provider of HSS products in the steel industry. Thank you to all of you that stopped by our table. 2019 LEAD Conference

Zekelman Industries was an official Silver Sponsor of the National Association of Electrical Distributors’ (NAED) 2019 LEAD Conference in Nashville, TN. This conference provided attendees useful advice on how to be more effective leaders so they can “act purposefully, think rationally, and deal effectively with business situations”.
